Laudato Si Champions

Our Laudato Si Champions are representatives from classes from our Key Stage 2 classes. Their mission, inspired by Pope Frncis, is to strive to promote environmental awareness throughout the school. The Champions meet regularly to discuss ways of improving our school environment, from litter collection to establishing ways of conserving energy in the school. The Laudato Si Champions work alongside the Bishop’s passion for the environment and what we can do to improve the planet we live on. In their recent project, they collected used coats and sold them for a small cost to the children and families at school. The remainding coats were taken to Re:dish, the local charity which we support.
